<image:title>What we do - Community service</image:title>
<image:caption>Government for Tomorrow strives to prepare communities for the future’s citizens. After all, high schoolers are the best idea we have of what tomorrow will bring. We want to bridge the gap in communities between generations and age groups that grew up in different worlds and naturally have different ideas. That’s one of the many reasons why over ten cities across Michigan have collaborated with us.</image:caption>

<image:title>Liam Dreyer - Liam Dreyer</image:title>
<image:caption>Operations Coordinator & Former CEO Liam Dreyer became one of the youngest Downtown Development Authority board members in the country at 14-years-old. After realizing how unique his position was, he founded Government for Tomorrow, Inc. to give his peers the same opportunity. At 20, Liam serves as the organization’s Operations Coordinator. “I started working with cities in my area as a small project to involve the youth in my community — somehow or another that turned into an organization. I couldn’t be prouder of the work we’ve done.” Liam has been on the Charlevoix DDA since November 2019, and he was reappointed in April 2022 to the board as a voting member. Liam says that he enjoys reading, playing the piano and saxophone, chess, and building LEGO. You can send Liam an email at liamdreyer@govfortomorrow.org</image:caption>

<image:caption>Board Director Barb is heavily rooted to the Boyne City area (northern Michigan) as she has lived there most all her life but is also active in regional and state-wide efforts. As a harbor master and city administrator, Barb has joined our organization bringing 17 years of local government experience. In 2018 former Governor Rick Snyder appointed her to serve a four year term on the State of Michigan Waterways Commission representing the northern region and currently serves as the chairperson for the Commission. She also has a passion for volunteerism serving on many area organization boards over the years and assisting with non-profit initiatives. Government for Tomorrow fits well into Barb’s wheelhouse.</image:caption>
